Services
Prior to your first session, Jeevani will contact you to answer any questions. Some services may be combined in order to obtain the best possible outcome for a client unless a particular modality is requested. In a session a client rests fully clothed on a massage table or sits in a comfortable chair.
Ayurveda
Ayurveda, an ancient East Indian system of natural healing, reminds us that health is the balanced and dynamic integration between our environment, body, mind, and spirit. How we digest, absorb and assimilate what we take in on all levels affects our health. Ayurveda describes three fundamental energies that govern our being: movement, transformation and structure. These forces within us shape our constitutions and our predispositions for dis-ease. Important goals of Ayurveda are to identify a client’s ideal state of balance, determine the cause of any imbalance, and offer interventions using diet, lifestyle, herbs, body treatments, exercise and yoga to reestablish health.
SomatoEmotional Release
(SER)
SomatoEmotional Release is a therapeutic process that supports the mind, body and spirit in releasing residual effects of past traumas. Subtle bodywork is combined with dialogue to aid in release while empowering one to develop deeper self-awareness. The body is a wonderful significance detector when an important juncture is reached, opening the pathway to healing. The cause does not have to be analyzed for release to occur. Relief from emotional tension re-ignites the ability to enjoy life and manifest meaningful intentions/goals. SER is often performed in conjunction with CranioSacral Therapy and Transformational Coaching.
Herbalism
The ancient art of using nontoxic herbs for healing and prevention is utilized worldwide and has been for centuries. An herbalist studies the physical makeup of an herb and its chemical properties to determine its effectiveness for a client’s condition, often working in tandem with Western medicine but sometimes as a replacement for medications. Herbs are used in various forms such as powders, teas, decoctions, topicals, tonics and in foods that have an affinity for certain areas of the body. Jeevani uses herbs in conjunction with lifestyle and diet changes so that the body can accept the powerful healing effects of nontoxic herbs and supplements.
CranioSacral Therapy (CST)
Upledger CST is a powerful yet gentle hands-on modality that works with the central nervous system and with connective tissue that covers the muscles and organs of the body. Using a light touch, the craniosacral rhythm is monitored to detect restrictions and imbalances. Manual techniques such as neuromuscular therapy are employed to release problem areas and relieve stress on the central nervous system. The body’s immune system is strengthened and a treatment is generally deeply relaxing and restorative. CST is known to alleviate a range of conditions, pain and dysfunction, headaches and motor-coordination impairments.
Transformational Coaching (TC)
Times of transition can leave us searching for clarity related to our next steps in life. Any number of changes can lead us to ask the questions, “Now what?” and “How do I handle this situation?” Transformational Coaching is a conduit for moving a shift in awareness into action or for sifting through a complex challenge. Letting go of old mental/
emotional/energetic restrictions and behaviors that no longer serve might be part of the process. New ways of being in the world can be consciously supported and fostered. The body and its energetic levels are instrumental in accessing one’s wisdom for such integration and awareness.
